Air One Group – Chief Technologist
November 2009 – Present
Working with Air One Group since its inception. Air One Group has diversified its operations from
Airlines and Aviation Business to E-commerce activities in Gifting, Celebrations and Events
Management under its own brand Thinkingofyou.today and with major multinational brands on its
worldwide operations. Air one is also set to start a new airline with regular full service operations in
India serving celebration and event management business for its premium customers and network.
Current Role and Responsibilities
 Understand the business plan and devise IT and Business strategy to meet the business goals and
objectives for both existing companies and startups.
 Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (including web application frameworks
and the deployment stack) for delivering the company’s services.
 Plan, implement and manage Open source ERP OFbiz & Odoo mix with E-commerce portal on
Magento ensuring all regulatory and security compliances.
 Develop Mobile apps for Business and enable mobility for its staff and vendors.
 Setup retail and franchise stores with POS and other infra facilities ensuring smooth operations
between Head office, warehouses and stores.
 Build revenue models with technology services to earn ancillary sales through website, on ground
and onboard in flight and through partner networks and Ecommerce companies
 Set capital and operational budgets for the technology and information systems platform and
ensure adherence to budgets
 Ensuring smooth internal implementation and usage of IT systems to ensure quick and accurate

Project Abroad: Between November 2013 and August 2014:
During this period I worked with Acacusair on behalf of Airone in Tripoli (Libya, Africa) to
start a new Airline where I did assist the startup Airline with complete IT, Infrastructure and
communication planning and management along with help with applications to do Business
Strategy Planning and controls for the complete Airline. I had to come back to India because of
terrorist attacks on Tripoli Airport and management’s decision to suspend Airline plan for near
future.
Shri Parasram Holdings Pvt. Ltd. - Sr. VP IT & Ecommerce
May 2006 – October 2009
SPH today is one of the top 10 brokerage houses for stock trading. I joined Shri Parasram Holdings to
introduce internet trading and took it to an unmatched level of internet trading within first six months.
There after I focused on stabilizing and optimizing IT infrastructure and setup.
Key Result Areas
 Set up internet trading division as a separate business unit for share market which included
business processes, documentation, technology, operations, trainings, funds control, risk
management, marketing support, Call Center, CRM, MIS and all regulatory bodies compliance
 Restructured entire IT setup within 60 days as per SEBI Guidelines and got SEBI Audit cleared
 Launched internet trading software across 200 branches in two month time
 Promoted internet trading among branches and successfully increased Internet based trading
brokerage revenue from INR 3,000 in the first month to more than INR 6,000,000 per month in
6 months.

Air Sahara (Jet Lite now) & Sahara Global - Head - IT & Business Solution
December 2001 – May 2006
I joined Air Sahara when it had only two flights in operation for 7 stations at random with only 28%
load factor. I managed the IT and communication services while Air Sahara grew to 22 Aircrafts with
26 cities operation and 82% load factor. I worked for Air Sahara for four years and later shifted to
Sahara Global when Air Sahara merged with Jet Airways. Along with this I also devised IT enabled
Business Solutions for other divisions of Sahara India Parivaar like Housing, Media, Printing, Para
banking and Aamby Valley.
Key Result Areas
 Setup Business Solutions Department thereby streamlining all technology based business
initiatives for Airline and Travel setup.
 Implemented countrywide call center operations in 12 cities, which resulted in an increase of
direct bookings by 12% per annum saving costs on GDS fee and agency commission.
 Savings of INR 90 million annually since may 2004 by setting up the ASK and increasing the
business revenue by 6% by facilitating the customer a single contact solution.
 Helped the company to earn additional INR 400 million in three years by reducing the aircraft
license clearance time from about one week to within 24 hours.
 Annual savings of INR 40 million per year since 2003 by implementing a VPN solution thereby
reducing the communication cost by 35%.
 Signed up a new reservation system and saved INR 20 million as one time cost and INR 6
million per year from year 2004 onwards
 Implement specific projects as project head for end to end implementation.
• Senate Royale: A customer service project for high end business fliers to give them the
feeling of ownership of the Airline. Create and compile work flows and process for all
departments to provide the world class services. Ensured the necessary changes into CRM,
reservation and departure control system and financial software to meet the specific customer
requirements Product and system training to all relevant team of the product from all
departments
• CRM Solution: Customer relationship management solution from CINCOM and COGNOS
based on multiple channels like voice, fax, email and web chat for multiple companies
working on a single platform with multiple databases interlinked on specific agreement
between the companies to utilize the total information of a single customer dealing with them
for various purposes
• ASK: Air Sahara Key – A project on call center solution to meet the total requirements of
Air Sahara customers with a single call on a single number nationwide. Expand the project as
an independent business entity for other companies of Sahara India Pariwaar and than for
other Corporate in a phased manner.
 Plan and present the complete strategy and roadmap in terms of finance, revenue
manpower infrastructure and IT setup of the complete project to the Chairman of
Sahara group.
 Implement the project in a phased manner starting from individual station to a
centralized call center solution to all companies of Sahara India Parivar
 Ensure the smooth running of the ASK operations in a phased manner
 Implement the customized solution to fulfill the needs of business travelers
 Turn the customer care contact center to profit center.
 Customer Delight: Modernization and automation of all airports to bring the customer
delight and improve check-in process. Some of the major responsibilities are as follows.
 Automate all stations with DCS equipment, high speed boarding pass and baggage
tag and ticketing printers for speedy check-in
 Redesign of the counters for customer convenience.
 Set up world class business lounges at Airports.
Royal Airways Limited (now Spice jet) - Head IT
January 2001 – December 2001
I joined Royal airways since inception and was second employee on roles to join. I established and
managed setup for 8 stations for their flight operations.
 Implemented a CITRIX based solution for reservation system, with savings of up to 40% per
annum.
 Saved 25% cost on network and electrical expenditure by redesigning the proposed new office as
against suggested by an Architect.
 Successfully implemented an ERP solution from RAMCO and setup 7 stations for IT infra.
Jet Airways – Head - Communication & Automations (North)
January 1996 – January 2001
I joined Jet Airways when it was in talks with major international players for a global alliance. In my
first year I made Delhi as a model station for all other Jet Airways operating stations. This included
office architecture, redesign of counters designs quick check-in and easy access, IT and
communication setup, IVR, Airport announcement systems, integration with Airport and Aircraft
specific devices, electrical and power management, data center requirements, and liaison for
government approvals.
 Setup and managed the IT and Communication department for North and East India
 On the line of Delhi Airport as Model station, set up 18 new offices in 9 stations in 1 year from
planning to management in terms of infrastructure, design, IT and communication setup
 Achieved 100% uptime on DCS (Departure control system) at Delhi Airport during year 1998.
 Successful implementation of SAP for North India.
 Ensured Y2K compliance of every communication equipment and service.
Concept Data Management - Resident Manager IT in KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
August 1991- December 1995
While I joined CDM, I was deputed to KLM to manage their IT and infrastructure operations. When I
started with KLM It had only two flights a week from Delhi and it grew to 14 flights a week from
Delhi and Several flights a week from Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata during my service. KLM
continued to renew contracts with CDM due to my good work and exceptional performance.
Pertech Computers Limited & Logic Systems Pvt. Ltd. – Sr. Engineer - July1987 – April 1991.
I started my career with logic systems and developed Bilingual type writer (English & Hindi) which
had become compulsory for government departments in 1988. I was shifted to PCL when PCL tied up
with Logic Systems for bilingual typewriters. I managed both pc and typewriters for Government and
limited sector companies for Delhi and NCR and achieved several awards.
