2. Sport is very important for all the people. It
helps us to be healthy and strong, to fight
difficulties and to be well-organized. As for me,
I like sports very much and always play sports
games, take part in various competitions.
My teacher of Physical Education
made me love sports and go in for
volleyball and light athletic. Our
teacher is a very popular person in our
school. He is a favorite one for a lot of
pupils, because he is not only our dear
teacher, but our adult friend too.
3. My teacher of PE, Khabarov Yuri
Mikhailovich, was born on
November 7, 1950 in the family
of workers. He and his elder
brother liked sports since
childhood.
At school Yuri Mikhailovich played sports
and enjoyed his PE lessons very much.
He got grades in 8 kinds of sports and
played volleyball for the national team of
Kalmykia.
4. After school Yuri Mikhailovich
graduated from a PE
department of Pedagogical
Institute of Stavropol. It was
not very easy for him to study.
He had to fight a lot of
difficulties, but his love for
sports helped him. In the
Institute he went in for
swimming and athletic..
The greatest sport
achievement of Yuri
Mikhailovich was
becoming a champion of
republic of Kalmykia in
volleyball.
5. After the institute he
worked in the sports
school as a
volleyball coach.
During the period of
2000-2012 he
worked at the
Faculty of Physical
Education of the
State University of
Kalmykia. Three of
his students
followed his
footsteps and
became a coach, a
teacher and a
sportsman.
6. Yuri Mikhailovich likes his
profession and loves kids. We
love him too, because he is a
Real Man, who can do
everything. He always helps to
repair our school, takes parts
in performances, goes on
hikes with us.
We respect Yuri
Mikhailovich a lot, because
he is always ready to listen
to our problems, to give
advice and to help
everybody who wants it.
7. His motto is "Treat people the way you would like them to treat you”.
I think that now, when there are very
few male teachers, working at school,
it is very important to have a reliable
one to set a good example for boys
and for girls.
