1. About my pupil
My name is Nikolay Shalnev.
I am an English teacher. I have been
teaching English my pupils for 5 years. I
like my subject, my school and, of
course, my work.
I want to tell you about my pupil, Ivan
Semenov, who is famous for basketball
games in Yekaterinburg.

2. Ivan Semenov: appearance
and first play
Now Ivan Semenov is 16 years old, he is
tall, slim, beautiful. He has black hair, brown
eyes, oval face.
Because of his tall height and fast reaction he
decided to spend his spare time playing
basketball.
At first he simply played in the school or home
yard, but one day his teacher saw basketball
play and Ivan's participation in it.
And when play was finished, the teacher came to
Ivan and offered Ivan to join school basketball
team.

3. Ivan Semenov: character and sport
Ivan agreed, and after that he began to play in
school team with other teenagers from 10 and 11
forms.
Ivan has very soft character, he is often shy,
sensitive, impressionable.
At first these features of his character obstructed
Ivan to achieve some positive results.
Ivan very long time trained in himself such
features as persistence, will, patience,
achievement of definite aim.
And soon he and his team won different
competitions of school level.

4. Sports competitions in
Yekaterinburg
School team began to participate in
sports competitions of region level.
At first our school team played with
two other school teams of region,
and after sports victory our school
was fixed to the city level.
The first year (2011-2012) we failed
play because of above strong
contestants.

Thanks to school trainings after the
lessons and desire of pupils we
appeared again to the city level.
And in this time (2012-2013) our school
team won city victory. It was so
surprisingly for school teachers,
headmaster, trainer and, of course, for
young sportsmen.
All players were awarded gold medals,
honorary certificates and one gold cup.

6. The future of our
sportsmen
Now Ivan is in the 10th form of
our school. He wants to enter the Ural
State Sports University in Yekaterinburg
because he is interested in sport for his
present and future life.
Many players from our school team have
already entered this University. They have
many sports rewards which were
considered by inspection board. They
hope to play basketball abroad, so they
also learn foreign languages, especially
English.

7. About myself
I am twenty seven years old, and how it was said
at the beginning, I am an English teacher.
I am very proud of my sports pupils who
achieved so excellent results in sport.
Now I want to spend more spare time swimming,
playing football, basketball.
And I think I will be healthy man for long time
of my life.
