Pavel Yudin was born May 7, 1993 in
Velikie Luki. Pavel Yudin is a sportsman of
«Children and youth sports training
center» under the leadership of Olga
Chernobrovkina, the head coach. The
athlete’s specialization is small-caliber
pistol shooting.

Pavel Yudin is a participant and winner
of many international competitions, a
finalist of the European youth League
Championship in 2011 and European
shooting championship of 2013, a
member of the youth national team of
Russia since 2007.

In 2011, Pavel Yudin won the gold
medal at the junior championship of
Russia in shooting from small-caliber
pistol.
The same year as a member of the
Russian national team he won a silver
medal at the European shooting
championship, both team and
individual competitions. It was the
biggest victory for Pavel. As his coach
Olga Chernobrovkina reported (sports
school for children and youth «Center of
Martial arts»), our athlete competed in
two exercises. In the first discipline - 50 m
small-caliber pistol, the agitation did not
allow our master of sports to show the
best results, but teamwork eventually
brought the Russians to the third place
and a bronze medal.

At the European shooting
championship of 2013 in the
discipline 25 m pistol with the final
score of 590 rounds the best
among all was Ukraine’s
representative Pavlo Korostylov
who also set the new World and
European record for this
discipline. Second place won the
representative of Russian
Federation Nikita Sukhanov with
the final score of 582 rounds and
third place won his team mate
Pavel Yudin with the final score
of 579 rounds. As for the team
results, the best was the team of
the Russian Federation with the
final score of 1739 rounds,
second place won the team
from France with the final score
of 1711 rounds, while third place
with the final score of 1708
rounds won the representatives
of Germany.

The athlete from my
city continues to
exercise in order to
win and to bring
gold medals to his
country. As Pavel
Yudin says, his
dream is to win at
the Olympic
Games. I hope for
his future success, I
will keep my fingers
crossed for him, as
my compatriot.
