Objectives of Training:
โข Strengthen the relationship between PGS state and service providers.
โข Strengthen the relationship and collaboration between local PGS
treatment providers, PGS prevention specialists, and agency
executives.
โข Discuss the value of investing and integrating problem gambling
services within local agencies.
โข Assure common knowledge of the basic statewide system and
expectations
Treatment Specific objectives:
โข Discuss how to EXPAND your services in problem gambling and get
more CLIENTS. MEET others that are doing what you are doing with
individuals and families dealing with gambling.
โข Learn how to conduct a GBIRT screening and how to train others, do
referral pathways planning, understand new billing codes for 2019,
and discuss quality improvement, and WFD planning.

10. Treatment Training Opportunity Survey
โข Some of our training opportunities will be expiring soon or at the end
of the calendar year.
โ Switching to a monthly case consult group, which David will be
organizing. He will have more information about the structure on the
August treatment call and via emails
โ David will be sending out a doodle poll in a couple of weeks to see what
time and day would work bestโฆ for the consult group, and for the
monthly treatment call.
