Decision-making is the process of
identifying and choosing alternatives based
on the values, preferences and beliefs of the
decision-maker.
3. Problem Solving
Problem solving consists of using generic or ad hoc
methods, in an orderly manner, for finding solutions
to problems. Some of the problem-solving
techniques developed and used in artificial
intelligence, computer science, engineering,
mathematics, or medicine are related to mental
problem-solving techniques studied in psychology.
4. Creative thinking/lateral
thinking
Lateral thinking is solving problems through an
indirect and creative approach, using reasoning that
is not immediately obvious and involving ideas that
may not be obtainable by using only traditional
step-by-step logic
5. Critical
thinking/perspicacity
Critical thinking is the objective analysis of facts to
form a judgment.The subject is complex, and there
are several different definitions which generally
include the rational, skeptical, unbiased analysis or
evaluation of factual evidence.
6. Effective communication
Communication (from Latin communicate, meaning
"to share"is the act of conveying intended
meanings from one entity or group to another
through the use of mutually understood signs and
semiotic rules.
7. Interpersonal
relationships
An interpersonal relationship is a strong, deep, or
close association or acquaintance between two or
more people that may range in duration from brief
to enduring. This association may be based on
inference, love, solidarity, regular business
interactions, or some other type of social
commitment.
