2. Persuasive Essay On The Importance Of Education
A highâquality and accessible education is important for all children. Through education, children
gain knowledge and skills that can lead to greater opportunities and upward mobility later in life.
Education has [Passive] long enabled people to go further than they ever thought possible; to
explore new ideas and to achieve new goals. Fostering knowledge and creativity enables children
to forge their own paths in life. As an educator, it is my greatest desire to guide children on their
educational journeys in a meaningful way. I hope to provide the children in my classroom an
accessible, inclusive and resource rich learning environment.

Inclusion
A classroom where everyone has access, is not necessarily a classroom where everyone feels
included. In order to create an inclusive environment, the teacher should assure that all students feel
included and understood. Diversity should be valued in the classroom and this starts with the
attitude of the teacher. When students come from a different backgrounds, the teacher should learn
about their cultures and integrate that knowledge into the learning environment. The teacher should
also strive to foster acceptance and value in classroom diversity among students.
Resources
Students shouldn't suffer because they are unable to afford basic resources needed for school. If a
parent is unable to provide the student with what they need, I would have available extra supplies
including, notebooks, binders, and pens on hand for student use. Additionally, I think it's important
to acknowledge that sometimes the resources students are lacking stretch beyond the walls of the
classroom. The problem might be as simple as not getting breakfast in the morning, or as
complicated as not having a place to live. Obviously, as teachers we probably have the ability to fix
the first one (free school breakfast application help), but not the later. We can, however, be
empathetic to a student's situation and treat them with understanding instead of frustration.

My goal is to make my classroom a learning environment where all students can be

3. Persuasive Essay On Climate Change
Climate Change
Not everyone in the world has noticed that the climate has changed throughout the years. The
negativity of climate alternation comes from pollution, weather, and temperature changes, which
will endanger the earth. However, it's possible that some people in the world are willing to help;
people are trying to decrease the chances of climate modification from raising. Even though climate
change is very bad for the earth and toward humans, no one can put an end to this problem due to
several causes which will affect us. Three different outcomes that surround the topic climate change
comes from our human activities, environment changes, and human health issues. These are the
reasons why it causes climate changes to create negative effects on the earth.
Greenhouse gases are the reason why climate change has affected the environment for many years.
Changes that can happen in the environment could be how cold is the temperature today, how much
sunlight is being produced during the day or is there enough clean water. The environment gets
affected when "the atmosphere traps the heat radiate into the Earth toward space" (NASA 1). When
that happens the environment will change the "impacts on human systems which involve food
production, local livelihoods, and health" issues (Environment and Climate Change Canada).
Different type of effects that can happen to the earth could be "sea levels, droughts, floods and
other extreme weathers, climate change ecosystem and extinction threats" (Greenpeace
International 1). Other living things such as insect, bird, or plant will be extinct or will move to
different places in the world and this will affect human health issues (National Geographic 1).
These issues will cause trouble to the earth's environment, and it's not possible to know when the
problems will turn more worst. Ice melting from the Arctic has increased, due to climate change and
it will harm the polar bears, seals, and penguins (National Geographic 1). My grandmother has
grown vegetables in her backyard, and as the climate changes, this affects the growing process of the
food. In the summer when I go outside the temperature has increased from the radiated of the sun
shining towards me.

4. Persuasive Essay
"Your assignment is to write a persuasive essay and present it to the class in a week. You will be
graded based on how convincing it is. Today we will be choosing topics," announced Mr.
Bowerbank, my 7th grade English teacher and ruler of classroom 110. My class simultaneously
groaned at the prospect of work. I simply lifted my head with intrigue as it was already May and
about time we had our first essay. He then proceeded to give examples of topics we could choose
and gave us some time to think before we had to tell him our topic. My classmates were already
rushing to tell the teacher their idea lest someone else steal it. That meant the usual abortion, death
penalty, or drug use topics were out. I really couldn't think of anything and the teacher was slowly
making his way through the remaining students like an executioner beheading criminals in a line.
I have always thought that he would make a marvelous supervillain if he had a curly mustache, a
tophat, and a cape. Eventually my name was called. I slowly dragged myself over to his desk.
Even sitting down, he still seemed to tower over me. "What is your topic Cindy?" As usual in such
desperate times, my mind turned to food. "Waffles are better than pancakes." I figured that awaffle
was just a differently shaped pancake with a nicer texture. "Hmm. Excellent topic. I look forward
to your essay!" I survived to live yet another day. As I walked to lunch, I went around and asked
everyone the age old question: "Do you like

When I began this class, I loved to write persuasive essays. I loved to write about my own opinions
and I was quite good at convincing people to agree with my stand points. To convince others to
agree on my point of view was an extraordinary feeling. I am very good at getting my point across
and giving my reasons on why I feel the way I do about a certain situation. I loved writing persuasive
essays because I love to read them as well. I love how persuasive essays have a callâtoâaction;
giving the readers a chance to do something about the situation. I am all for protest and rights for
others, if I believe someone is wrong I will stand my ground and prove that it is wrong. I loved to
write persuasive essays because, I am a persuasive person in life. My opinions matter just as much
as everyone else. Writing persuasive essays, is like writing from the soul. To be able to put my all
into a piece and show why it means so much to me. By taking this class, I have come to enjoy the
research paper. I feel now as I writer I still love persuasive writing; just know I include research to
help strengthen my opinions. I am an organized writer as well as a descriptive writer, being able
to write things in logical order and having things well explained for a reader. I now understand the
meaning and how to write about things I may not always agree with. Being able to describe my
writing, giving more detail is something taking this class has taught me. Giving my readers a better

6. Persuasive Essay On STEM Education
Everyone wants what is best for their children, right? If that is true, then schools need to start
preparing their students for the challenges they will meet in college and the skills to overcome them.
This is best done through the presence of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in
middle and high schools. Through Wisconsin schools furthering their focus on STEM with
extracurriculars, students will gain vital skills that are necessary for human progression,
problemâsolving and time management skills that can be used in real life, and the students learn
how they can apply what is being taught in the classroom to real obstacles and challenges. It is
clear that STEM is a rapidly growing and advancing field that is needed for our human progression.
There are so many different professions that fall under STEM education and many of them impact
the world every day. According to former PresidentBarack Obama "[Science] is more than a school
subject, or the periodic table, or the properties of waves. It is an approach to the world, a critical
way to understand and explore and engage with the world, and then have the capacity to change that
world" (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Here, former President Obama is talking
about how important science is as more than just a school subject; science can be taken out of
school and used to impact many people and change the world. Some may say that there have been
other fields in history that became very popular but

Topic: Bullying in Schools
Specific Purpose: To persuade people to stop the bullying and help the people that are dealing with it.
Central Idea: Bullying has been around for years, but it's time to make a difference and get rid of it.
Introduction
Attention Getter: How would you feel if someone was trying to put you down for your
appearance or your culture or your for just being you? How would you feel if there was no one to
turn to because you feel like everyone would just make fun of you? How would you like it if you
were stuck in bed just wanting to stay home because everyone is just not nice to you? This is what
someone goes through when it comes to bullying. This also leads to other things that shouldn't be the
only way out. There is always someone out there for you. You just have to...show more content...
(Transition: So why does bullying need to stop?)
Body
Everyone has either been bullied or have been the bully, but the ones who are the bully don't see
what they're really doing until it's too late.
For the past decade, the bullying rate has been sitting at 28%, but finally dropped to 22% just a few
years ago. (U.S Department of Education, 2015)
It obviously shows that something is being done about the bullying. But do you really think it's
ever going to stop completely? Do you think if we really try to stop the bullying, will it actually
make a difference in society? I hope so because if nothing changes in the next decade, there's no
hope of anything ever being done.
I'm sure there's someone here that has either been bullied or has been the bully. Do you ever look
back at what you did or what was said to you? I sure do. B. As the bully, you don't see what you're
doing to the person because you're dealing with things yourself.

9. Persuasive Essay On Procrastination
Have you ever postponed something super important because you wanted to have fun on a Friday
night? Convincing yourself "Oh, I'll just get it done tomorrow?" This action of putting off a task
until the next day or a later time is called procrastination. Someone displaying procrastination would
either be delaying their work for another job that they consider more important or distracting
themselves with an activity that is more interesting. Many people believe that only disorganized or
lazy people acquire or pick up this intrusive habit, but I disagree with this misconception. Productive
people, too, occasionally lack the desire to get things done on time. Take for example myself; I have
always struggled with this mannerism and even more...show more content...
The prefrontal cortex is what makes an individual decide to engage in a task. With that in mind,
putting work off makes it easier for the limbic system to dominate and give immediate pleasure
feelings which the brain prefers. In other words, people begin to manipulate this perception and
enjoy the shortâterm effects because it becomes more satisfying not to complete the task. This
habit can start to control how or when we choose to tend to our responsibilities (Spencer). I
recognize this feeling on a daily basis. For example, there was a day that I decided I was going to
study in the library as I would hopefully be more productive in that setting. However, as soon as I
sat down I began to fiddle with everything I could get my hands on. From obnoxiously twirling my
pencil to watching timeâconsuming YouTube videos, I wasn 't very productive, and as a result, I
had to cram until two AM for an exam the next day. I had always known thatprocrastination was
satisfying, and now with this new information that confirms that it feeds off of my "good" feelings
based on my body 's anatomy. Moving on, I then researched how to recognize why myself and
others procrastinate in the first place. The first reason people procrastinate is that they "become"
perfectionists. As procrastination becomes a more common act, it can also bring about the action of
perfectionism. Harold Taylor does a fantastic job at identifying perfectionism, along with other
reasons

10. Persuasive Essay On Self Care
A crucial step to living free is selfâcare. So, what is selfâcare? Selfâcare is (different for every
person)unique on an individual basis. Leonowicz stated, "With this in mind, there cannot be one
blanket strategy for practicing selfâcare (Leonowicz, 2)."One must feed his or her emotional,
physical, mental, and spiritual needs. On an emotional standpoint, this may include surrounding
yourself with people with healing potential(or who exude positive energy and thus are helpers at
healing the soul . For example, I have friends who are able to change my negative mood to positive
mood in a matter of seconds. Having these friendships are not only therapeutic and but also a
necessity to maintaining my mental wellness. In addition to the emotional aspect, one must take
care of his or her physical needs. This is different for each person; some may need to nourish their
bodies with more healthy food and water, whereas others need to be more active and exercise
more. From a mental perspective, an individual could require more academic stimuli to thrive and
hence more exposure in a university setting. Also, some may need stress relief from their jobs and
family. There are a number of mindfulness practices such as meditation, yoga and tai chi. On a
spiritual level, some people may find peace in religion and prayer. music to heal ones soul. These are
all simple examples of different ways to achieve selfâcare and peace of mind.

11. Writing A Persuasive Essay
It's a simple enough idea, write an essay about a topic for credit. I'll admit I've written good
essays in the past, I just have one issue with this topic; I am not a persuasive person. I don't have a
passion to write about, or an idea in my head. Even if I was passionate about something, I doubt I
have the skill to convince you. My arguments would consist of why I like the topic (or hate it) with
an extreme bias, and I doubt that you would be moved. I couldn't convince you that the long hours of
school take a toll on the students. Even if others agree with me, the way I word things, the lack of
passion and my lack of being able to be assertive is the reason why I can't write this essay. First
things first, the way I word my thoughts. Regardless...show more content...

bunch of How Tos. I've have taken a stand that is very passiveâaggressive, on why I can't write this
essay. I know what you're thinking, this is ridiculous. Just think of it like this, as you sit there
reading me ramble on and give excuses. You're starting to listen. Yes, you have been in my spot

this option before but it seemed too stupid. You looked up prompt after prompt. Nothing. When you

12. Persuasive Essay On Inclusive Education
Gretchen Walsh, a special education professional with a masters in education stated, "Inclusion is
important because through our diversity we certainly add to our creativity. If you don't have a
diverse classroom or a diverse world, you don't have the same creative levels and I think our
strength lies in our diversity" (What is inclusion?). Inclusion is the integration of students with
disabilities into a general education classroom receiving accommodations and services necessary for
their specific needs. Inclusion is beneficial for all students because diversity is critical and results in
better academic outcomes and social connections (Willis, J.). Inclusion varies by extent of assistance
needed and it provides students with disabilities the opportunity to learn beside a diverse range of
students. Overall, inclusive education is a current implementation in schools and has been proven to
positively impact students' lives.
Classes today are more diverse than ever and students with learning disabilities contribute to this. It
is important to recognize the great modification in the past two decades that has led to the growth of
inclusive education. The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act commenced in 1997 and
requires that all public schools in America offer a free education to students with disabilities in the
least restrictive environment, and this federal law is responsible for the application of inclusive
education. It also requires the creation of individualized

Leaving your child with someone else as you head off to work every day is not easy: As a parent,
chances are, you long to be with your child 24/7. This is especially true for new parents. However,
once maternity leave has ended, even mom must return to work. While there are several child care
options available, one of the best options available is daycare. That said, choosing the daycare center
that suits the needs of your family best will require a bit of research.

Any daycare that you choose should have a locked door policy. This ensures that your child cannot
just roam around the neighborhood. Ideally, only staff members, individuals touring the facility and
adults who are dropping off or picking up their children should be allowed in the center. All adult
visitors need to be closely monitored, including you!
3. AgeâGroup Separation
Toddlers and older children should not be mingling with babies who are under the age of
12âmonths. Toddlers can be highlyâspirited and somewhat unsteady on their feet. In addition, they
have yet to master the art of being gentle with infants.

16. Persuasive Essay About Teen Pregnancy
Teen pregnancy......what comes in mind when you hear the words "Teen Pregnancy"? Well, teen
pregnancy are young female girls that become pregnant under the age of 20. A female can become
pregnant from having sexual intercourse and after she have started to ovulate. Young female girls
will become pregnant without even thinking about the consequences and the type of environment
the baby will be in. Not because the young mother is poor or rich, but because they're not ready to
take care of another human being. Not to mention, pregnant teens are young themselves, so their also
growing. There are plenty of problems that are the cause of teen pregnancy, and many of those
problems can be solved.
One reason for teen pregnancy is the lack of information that is given to students in middle and high
school about sex and how to prevent it from happening. Also, the lack amount of talks from parents
that they can give to their teen. I wouldn't say there isn't any education given out to students about
sex, but there isn't ENOUGH to make preâteens and teens to fully understand and have the right
mind set about sex. Many schools won't really focus on the topic about teen pregnancy because it
really doesn't have much about academics and that's really understandable, but at the end of the day
teens are also human and do make mistakes. I believe schools should give education about teen
pregnancy as much as the other subjects. The topic of teen pregnancy shouldn't be left out because
talking to your teen about sex can definitely influence their lifestyle. Many teens would learn about
sex in the streets which it totally horrible because 9/10, the streets will educate them to have sex
rather than not to. The solution to this problem is that parents and schools should educate their teens
/students with more education about teen pregnancy, so that the number pregnant teens can decrease
in near future.
Another reason for teen pregnancy is social media. Social media can have a huge impact on how
teens can view their lives by influencing them with a different kind of lifestyle. Not to mention,
teens can easily be brainwashed by what they see on there and think what they see on social media
is good, is actually wrong. Social media will have

Goals, something every human being on this planet has and to reach those goals you must be
successful. We set goals to fulfill our purpose in life, but to do that, you must be successful in
meeting and completing those goals. "How Bad Do You Want It?" is a motivational speech that
highlights the requirements of being successful. This speech is important to study because success
is so vital and important for our survival as human beings, it changes the world. No matter your race,
religion, culture, etc., you want to be successful and that will have a different definition for
everyone, because only you can define what success means to you. "How Bad Do You Want It"
encourages its audience to think differently about wanting to be successful and how to make it
happen. This speech holds all the components Aristotle says a speech needs to be effective which

19. Persuasive Essay On Working Out
Since humans have been created millions of years ago, we were made to be active, go out hunt
and gather materials to survive. Now we just sit down on desks and type bunch of 0's and 1's.
Although, We are still built to be active and the main way to do that today is by working out and
burn our bodies at the gym. Working out is not just about getting sixâpack abs or having huge biceps
and chest, Working out is about changing your lifestyle and make sure you live healthy long life
with no diseases that would make you hate yourself when you are older. Exercising is how you feel
young forever. We keep getting older and we are older than we were oneâsecond ago, but that does
not mean, We cannot have control over our life and be young in heart and be healthy as we are
when we are young. Nowadays people just sit down, order everything online and try to not move as
much as possible, or that how I was until my freshman year at Arizona State University. I was not
active at all and had selfâesteem issues and weighted 220 pounds, and my major is computer
science (CS) which mean, I get to sit down for hours typing codes and study for all different sorts
of hard classes and that increased my anxiety and stress. Then, I started working out and my life
changed, I lost 60 pounds, felt happy about myself and how I look, all the stress I had from
classes which anyone who takes calculus, computer classes know how hard they can be, it just
decreased and I could feel like everything is going to be fine at the end, just have to try harder and
that is it. In an article by dozen of PHD scientist in metabolism and fields related to that, they said,

Most people think highly of online classes; get to work from home, get to work on a flexible
schedule, and anyone can do it. Though no one has heard the cons of taking one. I personally took
three semesters of online classes in high school and had a horrible experience. Because of loose
scheduling, poor communication, and the focus needed, online classes are not suitable for
procrastinators. To give a better understanding, I will summarize my experience with the class. Me,
being a procrastinator, thought to myself: I'll just work on the weekends and if I don't finish the
class by the end of the school year, I can finish within the first few weeks of summer. This was a
god awful plan. Unsurprisingly, close to nothing was accomplished on the weekends. Friends would
ask me to hang out every weekend, and I did every time. Why would I want to work on my class on
the weekend when I could be having fun? I would later regret this decision. On the days I stayed
home and could have worked on the class, I completed nothing. On these days, I would tell myself:
I'll just complete what I didn't do this weekend next weekend. This rarely happened. Thus, the cycle
of getting nothing accomplished started. I disregarded my class for most of the first semester of
junior year. With only nine assignments out of eighty finished after the first semester of the school
year, I was immensely behind. I told myself to get my act together during second semester and grind
out these two semesters

Strengths: Interesting topic. One we should all be talking about. Global warming is something that
is not something that will happen in the future but is actually happening right now. You have lots of
great sources that provide a lot of information.
What Works? Why?
1. Introduction: Your introduction is the place where you catch the reader's attention. You want
this to be a place where you provide facts that will get the reader wanting to read the following
paragraphs. In a persuasive essay there is no place for the first person. By starting with "I
believe..." you have already lost credibility. The reader will now think that your paper is based on
your opinions rather than facts. Your thesis...show more content...
Supporting Evidence: I feel you have strong supporting evidence.
4. Conclusion: Just like in your introduction the first person hasn't have a place in this paper. You
do a great job proving your point but again it can all be for nothing by adding YOUR opinion to the
conclusion. The conclusion paragraph is the point where you wrap up your essay and you remind
the reader what your thesis was. Without a thesis, you don't have a place to connect the reader back
to the beginning.
