WORK EXPERIENCE
ERICSSON GLOBAL
INDIA SEVICES
NETWORK ENGINEER 01st July,2014 till present
Project Description Presently working as an IP BACKHAUL 4G TESTING ENGINEERS & Switch Network Planning
Engineer with Ericsson Global India Pvt Ltd for the SPRINT-US project.
Learning from
project
PROJECT 1- TESTING ENGINEER
As a TESTING ENGINEER we optimize the frequency of IP BACKHAUL 4G SITES to a desired
frequency level.
Mainly three KPI’s are there where we deal:
1. AUGMENT IP BACKHAUL SITE: In this KPI we get SITE with basic frequency i.e. mainly
50Hz, we optimize the SITE up to a desired level may be 75Hz or 100Hz.
2. MIGRATE IP BACKHAUL SITE: We migrate the AUGUMENT IP BACKHAUL SITE to a different
port.
3. COMBO IP BACKHAUL SITE: We migrate and augment the SITE with basic frequency i.e.
mainly 50Hz, we optimize the SITE up to a desired level may be 75Hz or 100Hz and migrate
the IP BACKHAUL SITE to a different port.
PROJECT 2- SWITCHING & PLANNING ENGINEER
Working experience in Core CDMA Planning and Migrations from CDMA to 4G.
Task to be performed:
1. Assign physical and logical platform assignments like Voice, EVDO, and Inter-MSC Trunk.
2. Design, Analyze, Plan and modify network components supporting customer
communication implementation activities.
3. Develop various routing scenarios and implementation schedules
4. Manage and assign physical and logical platform assignments for new/existing circuit
layout records to support capacity augments.
5. Maintaining Daily Network KPI's like T1 Augment, Maintaining Database Integrity, EVDO
Augment, NV Disconnect.
6. Provide technical support for new technology, optimization efforts, special events,
disaster recovery and special projects.
7. Work directly with local Field Operations and Project Management teams to support
rehomes, network grooming and optimization plans.
8. Provide technical and analytical support for existing and new technology.
2. TRAINING
Hands on training on BTS equipment, M-CAD Soft tech, New Delhi (July – August, 2010)
A base transceiver station (BTS) is a piece of equipment that facilitates wireless communication between
user equipment (UE) and a network. UEs are devices like mobile phones (handsets), WLL phones,
computers with wireless internet connectivity, Wi-Fi and WiMAX devices and others. The network can be
that of any of the wireless communication technologies like GSM, CDMA, Wireless local loop, WAN, Wi-Fi,
WiMAX, etc.
Training on GSM module, Videocon, New Delhi (August - September, 2011)
GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications, originally Groupe Spécial Mobile), is a standard set
developed by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) to describe technologies for
second generation (2G) digital . The GSM standard is more improved after the development of third
generation (3G) UMTS standard developed by the 3GPP.
CURRICULUM PROJECTS
Control Appliances through Cell Phones – Major Project
In this project we can control any electrical appliances through mobile or landline
from any part of the country. In this project one base unit is connected to the basic
landline in parallel with the land line phone. When we want to control any electrical
appliances through outer phone then first we dial the home number, bell is ringing
and after few bell phone is automatic on and switch on the base unit to operate. Now
we press the single digital excess code, if the excess code is ok then unit give a tone
pulse and switch on the base unit. Now again we press the switch code to on/off any
electrical appliances.
Circuit components
DTMF decoder(IC 8870 is used which used to convert dual tones in to binary outputs)
Microcontroller(Principle of the Project)
Electronics combination lock
Circuit Design Components – Major Project
This Electronic circuit consists of Diode, Capacitor, Transistor, Transformer, LED,
Resistance Opto-coupler and various IC pins.
