Have you seen light??
 If not, You can see the images of bullet pulses of light in Femto-
photography
 Femto-photography technique captures , visualizes the propagation of
the light pulses in a medium through ulta-slowmotion camera
 Initially carried out in 1970 by Nils Abramsson in Sweden, presently
the research is taken up in MIT Media lab led by scientist Ramesh
Raskar, an Indian
Before passing light During the propagation of light
The camera that takes trillion frames per
second
Principle behind in it
Concept
◦ A packet of photons are released which travels around with the
speed of the light (Million times faster than ordinary bullet)
◦ The scattering of the packet can shows the light in motion
◦ Each reflected photons reach the camera at different times (each
photon frame can forms a individual raw frame)
◦ These frames combine to develop the replica of image
This is the picture of the hidden
mannequin, that is formed by the
reflected photons
Applications
Used to identify the unknown object in a place
To avoid collisions in the roadsides
Can be used for rescue operations in buildings etc,.
Highly recommended for colonoscopies in medical field
Thank you
