Inquiry: Making Connections
As a group
Using your unit planners, look at the learning engagements and see where
they:

•Fit in an inquiry cycle

Discuss:
•Is there a possibility of action?
•At what point does the guided inquiry end and the student inquiry take over?
•How is that reflected in the planner?
•Are there enough provocations?
•Where, when should student questions be generated?
•Where these would fit on the inquiry quadrant (low v. high teacher control;
low v. high teacher initiative).
