• Why?
• They let you and your teachers know how
you are progressing and let us decide what is
the next step for you. These assessments are
good practise for exams when you are older.
• When? Weeks beginning 4th Feb and 11th Feb
• Be prepared - but don’t worry too much.
2. Top tips
• Find out exactly what you are expected to be
revising. Check in your IL diary, exercise book,
Moodle and Planner Live.
3. Make a revision time table
• I have emailed you a template and up loaded
it to moodle. Your tutor has some printed
ones if you prefer. Use this to start you off.
• Can you make a better one?
4. Make note cards of your notes
• Use colour, pictures and keep them brief.
5. Mind maps
• Colour
• Pictures/images/symbols
• Humour
• Exaggeration
• Group
• Use curvy lines that thicker near the centre and
get thinner as they radiate out– write along the
lines, this means that you cab keep adding more
information.
