This document discusses two approaches to education - students as collaborators or consumers. As collaborators, students engage in experiential learning through real-world challenges, working collaboratively and networked to understand motivation and model behaviors, gaining both knowledge and skills. As consumers, learning and experience are disconnected, outcomes are fixed, assessment is target-driven and summative, competition is blind, and management is external.
