Osiris was the Egyptian god of the afterlife, death, life, and resurrection. He had green skin, a long black beard, and wore a white crown. Osiris's brother Seth locked him in a chest and threw it in the Nile, but Isis helped resurrect Osiris so he could father Horus with her.
