This document outlines a scheme of work for an AS level Physical Education course covering the Anatomy and Physiology module. Over the course of 13 weeks, topics such as the skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular and respiratory systems will be covered through lectures, practical activities, and assessments. Students will learn about topics like bone structure, muscle fibers, the heart, lung volumes, and how each system adapts to exercise. Reinforcement and testing will occur throughout the term to help students meet target grades for the module.
