11. DaRT ongoing development
DaRT development in 2023-2024
• To be completed by May 2024
o Cross-mapping, done in collaboration with UNEP-WCMC, broadened to other MEAs: Rio
Conventions and chemicals and wastes
o Inclusion of CBD action plans: CBD Gender Plan of Action and the Global Strategy on
Plant Conservation
o Interoperability between DaRT and the CMS family reporting system.
• To be achieved by end of 2024
o Anchoring DaRT in UNEP Digital Transformation
o Importing GBF indicators into DaRT (Aichi indicators already in DaRT) & visualizing
progress implementation and review
→ working with UNEP Global Environment Database, InforMEA, CBD, UNEP-WCMC Target Tracker,
→ interoperability with other tools such as UNEP-WCMC Target Tracker.
