Policies
Payment
–
The
automated
payment
system
is
hassle-‐free
and
easy
to
use!
Choose
your
payment
preference
–
credit
card,
debit
card,
or
automatic
bank
draft
–
on
your
registration
form.
Tuition
will
automatically
be
charged
your
account
on
the
1st
of
each
month
unless
you
make
other
arrangements
with
PCMM.
Registration
Fees
–
There
are
no
registration
fees
for
lessons;
the
monthly
payments
are
all-‐inclusive.
There
will
be
additional
supplies
to
purchase
throughout
the
year
on
an
as-‐needed
basis.
Make
Up
Lessons
–
For
lessons,
two
makeups
per
school
year
are
allowed
and
require
a
24-‐hour
advanced
notice.
We
recommend
reserving
these
makeup
lessons
for
extenuating
circumstances.
Lesson
time
cannot
be
extended
for
being
late.
Tuition
is
due
regardless
of
missed
lessons,
and
credit
cannot
be
given
for
missed
lessons.
Lesson
Cancellations
Weather
-‐
In
the
event
of
severe
weather,
we
will
follow
Ponca
City
School
District
closings.
Please
check
your
local
news
station
or
the
PCYC
website
for
confirmation.
When
a
lesson
is
canceled
due
to
severe
weather
or
other
natural
disaster,
the
lesson
will
not
be
made
up
and
there
will
be
no
available
tuition
discount
applied.
Other
Cancellations
–
If
lesson
is
canceled
for
another
reason,
the
lesson
will
be
made
up
OR
participants
will
be
compensated
monetarily
with
a
$10
credit
on
the
next
month’s
tuition.
Withdrawal
–
If
enrollment
must
be
cancelled,
a
written
notice
prior
to
the
1st
of
the
month
is
required.
If
notice
is
received
after
the
1st
of
the
month,
the
tuition
for
the
current
month
will
still
be
charged.
Written
notice
may
be
submitted
to
Miss
Katie
using
the
online
form,
sent
to
pcmusicmakers@gmail.com,
or
mailed
to
Miss
Katie
at
3102
Turner;
Ponca
City,
Oklahoma
74604.
Materials
and
Supplies
-‐
Students
taking
lessons
can
expect
about
$30-‐$40
of
music
expenses
throughout
the
year.
Bills
for
music
or
extra
supplies
will
be
sent
as
needed.
These
charges
will
be
applied
to
your
account
and
charged
at
the
same
time
as
the
current
month’s
payment.
Students
taking
oboe
or
piano
lessons
need
an
instrument
in
the
home
for
daily
practice.
Practice
requirements
and
goals
will
vary
according
to
student
levels.
Parental
Involvement
–
Parental
support
is
crucial
to
the
success
of
each
student.
To
keep
parents
informed,
we
regularly
communicate
via
email
and
text.
Students
also
have
an
assignment
notebook
to
facilitate
communication
between
studio
and
home.
