STUDENT SHOULD create parent and/or guardian as an Authorized User in the Online Billing and Payment system  Student and Authorized Users receive notification via email that a billing statement has been generated  Student accesses bill via my.Fairfield.edu to Online Billing and Payment site; Authorized Users access bill via URL in email

  • 10. Monthly Tuition Payment Plan Flexible alternative to traditional lump-sum payments at the start of semester Allows you pay the total cost of tuition, room and board in 10 equal monthly installments Families find smaller payments easier to manage

  • 12. Monthly Tuition Payment Plan  In 2014-2015, the Monthly Tuition Payment Plan was utilized by 655 Fairfield families to pay for tuition, room and board!  Your funds are:  Protected in a Federally Insured Account  Funds are sent monthly to the University

Financial Aid & Your Bill • Approved University aid disburses in JULY • Federal and State aid will appear as a “MEMO” (pending approval) • Deduct “MEMO” items from balance due • State grants will disburse during the Fall semester • Federal Work-Study does NOT disburse to the student’s account

Financial Aid & Your Bill  If you do NOT see University aid or MEMO items on your bill:  Offer of aid has NOT been accepted by student  Required documents have NOT been submitted to confirm aid award  File review is still in process * All offered aid is ESTIMATED until you are notified by the Office of Financial Aid of a final award.
  • 21. Federal Loans Direct Loan Borrowers MUST complete: • Entrance Counseling • Master Promissory Note www.studentloans.gov Students and Parents (for PLUS loans) will need to obtain an FSA ID if you have not done so already.
  • 22. Federal Loans Federal Perkins Loan Borrowers • A letter will be mailed to students in July from the FAO with program information. • Loan documents will be completed online. • There is a FIRM deadline by which all recipients of the Perkins loan must have their FA file and loan documents completed and the loan disbursed to their student account - September 23, 2015!
