2. An Important component of power consumption
worldwide is street lighting . Global trends in street
lighting show that 18-38% of the total energy bill goes
towards street lightning and therefore this is one domain
that needs major attention.
3. As we see, now a days there a perpetual increase in
energy conservation ,which is one of the global
issues. So street lights with solar panels would help
us lessen the energy being conserved . To
implement this idea the research includes the
different types of sensors required for sensing the
vehicles and also for sensing human beings ,we
researched for the generators to be used and also
for solar panels usage and there working.
4. For the above problem solar city is
the solution which aims at minimum
10% reduction in projected demand
of conventional energy.
6. DOMAIN:
Requirements: The requirements of our project
includes the solar cells attached to the street lights
and different types of sensors are required for
automobiles and for human beings.
Functionality: It works as:
• A photoelectric sensors are attached to the roads
which will sense the vehicles from 30 meters away.
The roadway consist of 3 parts which is divided for
four wheelers, two wheelers and bicycle.
•After sensing vehicles, street lights will glow alerting
about speed breakers and though conserve energy.
•In this way we are able to conserve a large amount
of energy which can be used to provide electricity at
Rural areas and benefits them.
