applications in various fields.
 Good strength & appearance.

3. Smart highways consist of 4 layers :-
 Base plate layer.
 Electronic layer.
 LEDs layer.
 Glass surface layer.

 Safer driving conditions.

6.  1st solar road is in Amsterdam.
 Intelligent highways.
 Zebra crossings.
 Notations.

7.  It took 6 months to make road of 2.28 km in 2014.
 It can produce 3,000 kilowatt-hour of energy per year.
 It can produce 70 kwh per sq.m.
 5,50,000 cyclists have ridden over the road.
 Every examination of road will done after every 2 years.

8.  46,89,842 Km in 2013.
 1.7% state & national highways.
 Needs 991TWh of electricity.
 These highways can produce 450TWh electricity.

9.  Change in layout according to Indian thinking,
working type & working attitude.
 Input layout is fitted at the sides of road.
 Output layout is fitted all over the road like
normal layout.
 It will avoid the harm of solar input components.
