Let me pause here and address the United States, directly. As the Prime Minister said last
week: Canada is deeply disappointed by the decision by the U.S. federal government to
withdraw from the Paris Agreement on climate.
That said, we will continue to seek opportunities for constructive progress on the
environment, wherever we can find them, with our counterparts in Washington and across
the great United States, at all levels of government and with partners in business, labour and
civil society.
• You need to be careful on how you call your largest trading partner in speeches
• Much of the USA foreign policy which Ms. Freeland condemned was under Obama watch.
• Obama pulled troops out of Iraq
• Obama never dealt with Syria issue

20. Summary
Canada has role to play in foreign policies
Liberals make it look like CPC did nothing on foreign policies which is not the case
UN needs to go back to its original mandate and not try to push one world
government
There are nasty people in the world as such they have to be dealt with as part of
foreign policies
