• 3-D Housing
• 3-D Nuclear Power Plant
• Food Processing
• Government role / Automation
4. Introduction
• World economy is heading for unprecedented
automation when it comes to how goods are
extracted, refined, manufactured, distributed and
sold.
• Too many governments lack the ability to be
agile when it come to how education and skills
development are both funded and programs are
executed to meet the jobs of today and
tomorrow.

13. 3-D Power
Plant
• “Oak Ridge National Laboratory are refining their
design of a 3D-printed nuclear reactor core, scaling up
the additive manufacturing process necessary to build it,
and developing methods to confirm the consistency and
reliability of its printed components. A rapidly built 3D
printed nuclear reactor could get nuclear energy
competitive again for power generation. A compact
nuclear reactor could be used for space propulsion and
space power. The lab aims to turn on the first-of-its-kind
reactor by 2023. TCR will be the 14th reactor built and
operated by ORNL.

16. Government role / Automation
• Education needs to become more agile
• Govt need to re-visits its R&D tax credits
• More emphasis on innovation centers, i.e. all colleges and universities
should become innovation hubs
• Government needs to look at ways to streamline regulations
• Urban planning
