Immediate family in this home include three generations. The participant is a 48 year old female, who is married, and works as a teacher. Her

Trace My Family History
I was able to trace my family history as far back as my Great grandparents on my mother's side. I learned some very interesting and shocking facts
about their lives and the struggles they had to endure. My Great grandparents adoptive my mother and twin sister at the age 2 because their
parents were unable to care for them properly. They welcomed them with open arms and raised both of them as if they were their own. My Great
grandfather was named James Allen Barnes, he was one of 5 sibling who was born in March of 1913. My Great grandmother was named Miriam
Etta Troxler, she was one of 4 sisters who was born in December 1915. James and Miriam were both born in Greensboro, N.C. My Great
grandparents both had suffered great loses at very young ages that would change their lives overnight. James and Miriam fathers who names we
do not know were shot on accident during a hunting trip and died. Their fathers were not on the same hunting trip and did not know each other.
After the deaths of their fathers, James had to quit school at the age of 15 to help his mother pay bills by delivering newspapers and Miriam and
her sisters were split up to live in different homes. The main reason Miriam and her sisters were separated was due her mother not being able to
support all the girls on her own. Miriam never saw or heard from her sisters ever again. Both families struggled tremendously during The Great
Depression. During a dance in 1930 the two met and were married at the ages of 15

Family Health History
To gain an understanding of my family health history I wanted to talk to my grandfather but, he travels a lot for work. So instead I talked to my
mom to get my maternal health history. First, I asked her if there was a common cause of death on her side that she knows of. Sadly, that answer was
yes. There has been a lot of heart issues that have led to death on my maternal side. One of my mother's grandfathers and her mother died of
cardiomyopathy which is a hereditary heart disease.

His grandfather died of cirrhosis of the liver and several of his uncles/aunts. His dad (my grandfather) had 15 siblings with nine living still. Out of
those nine, three are diagnosed alcoholics. Anthony has also struggled with alcohol in the past and has recently been limiting his alcohol intake. After

Our family history is rooted in Texas and Mexico. Discussing our family history with my parents and relatives I have found that my grand–parents and

What can I say about my family? Honestly, hardly know jack shit about my family's history. As of now, I know that both my Biological parents were
born in Puerto Rico. In addition, please be mindful that the man who is supposedly is my biological father; I did not have a chance to meet his ass

Drury is English. This family descended from John De Drury, the son of a Norman French nobleman, who fought his way to power in England
along with William the conqueror in 1066. The Drury's held large estates in Suffolk, England for centuries. Their coat of arms from the 1200's has a

One of these is that on Thanksgiving everybody comes together to my parents' house in New Jersey for a huge feast. On Christmas only my mother and
the children (me and my brother) travel to Illinois to spend a week with my grandparents. On New Years Eve we all get together at my parents'

What I am today is the reflection of my family's history. History of endeavors, pains, failures and growth. One evening, I was talking to my grandma

The proband interviewed is a 53–year–old female. Based on the family history given by the proband, the pedigree formed interprets that there are

My grandmother, who is 80, was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes several years back, but she still lives a fulfilling life. Unfortunately, I'm not in
contact with my paternal side so there is not much I know concerning that side. My father died when I was only a couple of months old and my

My Complicated Family History
The mix of my complicated family history and my strong supportive mother have shaped me into the person that I am today. My biological father,
Clint, battled with a secret drug addiction that my sweet mother knew nothing about until it was too late. When I was only a year old, the drug

Family background and history (F): As I have mentioned previously, I grew up in a divorced family from a very young age. I lived with my mom,
sister and grandma for about four years until my mom remarried and moved across the country. My sister and I then moved in with my dad for about

When I enrolled in Columbia southern college to further my education, the enrollment counselor told me I needed 6 credits of history. The first

During my excessive research on my family background, I found that I had major complication learning about my history. The reason for this was
because my family was brought to a country that totally wiped out my ancestor's culture. The only part I understand of my family history is
slavery. We started out as slaves in when first brought to America. We were originally from West Africa. We lived in places such Nigeria, Congo,
and Ghana. This was a time when we owned our land and freedom. However, around the late 1500s, the western European culture had finally

Every person has a different origin, a different story to tell, and it's up to the next generation to share the story of their ancestry to future generations.
The paternal side of my family originated in Ireland, they later came over through Elis Island and resided in Waukon, Iowa. Throughout time my family
moved and expanded, as generations past the McKenna name would broadened.
My great–grandmother Ann was born in 1923 on a small rural farm just off the blacktop of Bluffton, Iowa. Churning butter, collecting eggs, and
tending to the livestock cultivated the strong work ethic, she soon would pass on to her children and grandchildren. She attended a small town
school with a grand total of 25 kids; Ann graduated with an eighth grade education. As time went on and she passed her schooling; she acquired
jobs doing house work for others, but the pay was only 25 cents a week. Instead of continuing her low paying job she decided it would be best to
work on the farm. While doing this she became close to her neighbor, William McKenna. The pair had attended the same church and saw each other
often, they eventually started dating. On May 29, 1939 the two were married and they would soon start their ever–expanding family. After their
