1,000 KIDS FOR CHRIST CONGO
OUTREACH UPDATE!
Many of you picked up colorful wrist-
bands (the color of the Congo flag) and
committed to praying for this outreach.
Great news! The first semester reports
came in from the six Regional Chaplains
indicating that God is indeed working in
the almost 300 Grace administrated
schools. As of the end of March, 990 students have received Christ as their
Savior through the ministries of chapels and religion classes taught in the
schools. Also in the Wamaza area, 13 Muslim teachers in their schools were
saved! The mobile evangelistic team from Kama has reported 1,605 people
who made professions for Christ and the Bukavu team, 172 people came
forward to accept Christ as their Savior. Thank you for your prayers but keep
praying as there are more people in this area to reach!
5. Don’t forget to bring in canned good and non-perishable
items for our on-going project of providing food for the
needy. Tom Strobel delivers these items to Beacon of
Hope on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month so please
consider giving on a regular basis. The collection box is
located in the fellowship area next to the west wall near
the library.
