THANK YOU NOTES!
“Thank you so much for the outpouring of support and love we have received from our
wonderful church family! The prayers, cards, texts, emails, calls and even visits at the
hospital really helped us through this difficult time. We are so glad to be back home and
able to worship our Lord and Savior with all of you!!! Love, Jim & Kelly De Frell”
“Thank you for your prayers, cards and concern during the recent loss of my brother,
Henry Van Houten. It is very comforting to know that we are part of such a praying and
truly caring church family. We appreciate the love shown toward our family.
Ade & Sharon Van Houten”
“Dear Friends at Parkside: We continue to thank God for your support. We also thank
Him for getting us safely to Malawi with all 8 of our bags in tact. We appreciated the
good reception that we received here in Lilongwe and all the help that Titus and Kristy
Lloyd gave us in helping us get settled. One answer to prayer is that we have found a
house to rent that is in a good neighborhood. Pray that we might get our car papers soon
as we have not been allowed to drive yet. Pray also for us as we begin to study Chichewa
at home and then try it out on any Malawian who will listen to us. (They usually end up
laughing at us as we mispronounce words or use the wrong one!) Thanks again for your
support throughout the years. Bill & Sue Vinton”

Caring and Sharing
SUMMER HYMN SINGS STARTING JUNE 7 AT 6:00 PM
Plan to join us every Sunday evening during the months of June
and July from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. for singing some good old hymns with
your church family along with casual scripture readings, and
testimonials. This is a great outreach opportunity!
The CE Committee is looking for an individual (or two) to become Children’s Church
Coordinator(s) beginning in June. The CC Coordinator is responsible for finding teachers/
helpers for each week and for providing teachers with a copy of the week’s lesson (from an
existing curriculum.) The CC Coordinator also makes sure the room is stocked with the
appropriate supplies & communicates with parents, volunteers and the CE Committee.
Please prayerfully consider using your talents to serve the Parkside family in this way!
Contact Katie Poynter at 616-808-7222 if you are interested or have any questions.
PLEASE NOTE: ON MAY 24, WE WILL BE CHANGING TO OUR
SUMMER HOURS. OUR MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE WILL
BEGIN AT 10:00 A.M. RATHER THAN 10:45.
