The Király Horse Ranch awaits guests in beautiful surroundings
where the Gemenci forest meets the Kiskunsági National Park. The
complex has facilities for an active rest: tennis courts, swimming
pool, wellness centre, billiards, table football, table tennis, and
volleyball court are waiting for the sports lovers. The courtyard is
decorated with a pleasant fishpond. In addition, of course, the main
profile is horse riding and riding on carriages on the 5,000 hectares of
undisturbed forest filled with wildlife, which is located around the
farm. While riding or carriage riding, you can find a nice resting place
in the unique ancient juniper forest. Anyone who has not seen up
close, or made friends with horses can benefit from training by skilled
riders.

For those who wish to relax two-, three- and four-bedded nice rooms
with a bathroom and apartments are provided. Cheaper
accommodation is also available: 4-6-bed rooms with bunk beds in
stone houses. Meals are provided by a 50 seat restaurant, where real
rural flavours can be tried, and our guests can get refreshments in the
cafeteria. Not only individually guests are welcome but we provide
facilities for conferences, meetings, friendly gatherings, weddings
and parties, too. We welcome our visitors for pig killing festivals and
sledging in winter, and student programs from spring to autumn are
available here. The children can experience the beauty of nature on
organized school field trips and during the holidays and we expect
them to our horse camp.

Horse Camp
During the five-day camp guests are introduced in the secrets of
horse riding and in the treatment with horses. They can feed the
animals of the mini zoo (goat, donkey, Mangalitsa pigs, sheep, and
rabbits).
We also offer a number of leisure activities: horse riding, pleasure
carriage ride, tennis, pool, fishing, table tennis, table football, ball
games, beach volleyball, arts and crafts, and a petting zoo.
We organize a day trip to Lake Kunfehértó.
The camp will finish with bacon campfire, where the children are
given a certificate on the knowledge acquired.

Village pig killing festival in Király style
The whole weekend program starts on Friday afternoon and ends on
Sunday after breakfast. Guests are greeted with brandy and homemade
scones on arrival then they proceed to comfortable rooms equipped with
TV and a private bathroom, or apartments. In the evening, they can try the
genuine village flavours as an introduction. Cock stew is served for dinner
with homemade noodles and mixed pickles.

The next morning begins very early and actively. After drinking
homemade brandy the pig killing starts. The guest performs the killing
and processing with the butcher. The all-day buffet style food is the
result of their work: fried blood, grated liver, Mangalitsa cutlet, pork
soup, sausages, cabbage and cracklings. For dessert local donuts
and Jánoshalma wedding cakes will be on the table. The afternoon
program is sledding in case there is snow, if not we organize horse-
drawn carriage trips to Central Europe’s largest contiguous ancient
juniper forest. In order to preserve the good mood, mulled wine and
homemade brandy may not be missing from the carriage. When we
return, the residents of the petting zoo can be visited (Mangalitsa pig,
goose, duck, rabbit, goat, rack sheep, donkey, dog, cat). Until dusk
they can enjoy the leisure facilities essential for relaxation (wellness,
table tennis, table football, pool, tennis court, pitch).

The real village fun begins in the evening.
The program ends with the following day’s lunch.
If they wish, guests may have raw sausages made, which they can
take home after the weekend.

Class Trip
The Király Horse Ranch is ideal for class trips. The complex is in a
quiet location not far from a big city; and it can fill in itself the time
allotted for the trip. If you are looking for a peaceful area, ideal for
relaxation, the local facilities offer a rich program. Who wants to play
sports can try the tennis court, or may get to know the mysteries of
riding. In addition, of course, table tennis, pool table, football field,
volleyball, basketball, and swimming pool are also available. The
centre of the courtyard is decorated with a fish pond, where everyone
can find the possibility of peaceful relaxation besides angling. A little
further away there is a mini zoo which serves not only as a spectacle,
but also provides a wealth of curriculum for the forest school.
Leaving the farm area, immediately you find yourself in a 5,000-acre
continuous forest, where you can admire the unique ancient juniper
forest and the environment rich in maidenhair.

In addition to the flora, deer, wild boar, roe deer, rabbits can also be
seen if you take a horse-drawn carriage tour in the forest. The hikers,
campers, forest school participants are provided with full board.
Accommodation is in stone houses, in four and six bed rooms. We
offer three fine meals a day with homemade flavours, taking care of
the needs of students. The escorts will be accommodated in rooms
with bathrooms, in-room TVs. For them, the accommodation, meals
and programs are free.
