This document summarizes activities from an "Experience China for Kids" event hosted by Troy University. It describes several cultural demonstrations and activities including a ramen noodle cook-off, a Chinese movie night, a performance by a karate club, a sword dance, learning to use chopsticks and write names in Chinese characters. Children made fans, bookmarks, and took part in other arts and crafts projects. The goal was to introduce children to Chinese culture through hands-on experiences.
10. HULUSU
This might look like a squash with a bamboo
stick in it – but it’s really a Chinese musical
instrument called a hu-lu-su. It’s a mix
between a flute & a clarinet and is
very popular in Southern China.
