3. Music videos that follow a narrative usually relate to the lyrics of the song.
Narrative music videos have the opportunity to capture the attention of
people who aren’t fans of the actual music as the narrative could interest them
instead.
This type of music video is used frequently throughout different genres,
however, in indie rock it might keep the audience interested as it contrasts the
basic performance type video.
