First appear of (Os) in 1940s Used in solving simple math
calculation . But setting operating system was introduced in 1950s ,
It was named (GMOS) created by General Motor for IBM’s machine
This new machine called Mainframe and they were used in
personal operators in large computer room. Only government
agencies or large corporation were able to afford them. After 1980
– present Day which is the last generation at this time they
developed small type of computers like Pc for single people could
be able to use them.
