12. If God calls us into darkness in order to enter His
presence, then that darkness will become an
entry to new levels of relationship with a God who
longs for fellowship with you and me.

26. Crisis and pain leads to
greater commitment,
obedience and intimacy
Loosens our grip on cares of this world.

28. Pain is designed to encourage
obedience that leads to intimacy with God
• Psalm 119:67 “Before I was afflicted I went astray,
but now I keep Your word.”
• Hebrews 5:8-9 “Though He was a Son, yet He
learned obedience by the things which He
suffered.”
29. The higher you go on the mountain
of influence, the greater the scrutiny.
30. • And it came to pass on the way, at the encampment, that the Lord met him and sought to
kill him. Then Zipporah took a sharp stone and cut off the foreskin of her son and cast it
