Objetive :Identifies the types of paragraphs in a
text and the appropriate use of link elements
between sentences and paragraphs.

paragraph?
It is a basic unit of organization to write with many sentences ,
which are developing ideas about an especific theme.
It has three parts:
• Topic sentence
• Supporting sentences
• Concluding sentence

COHERENCE
Paragraphs should be linked together
by means of logical connectors, eg :

A good writer has to learn by

definition, etc.).
9. Descriptive paragraphs: Tell
how are objects, people,
places, animals, feelings.
as its name suggests is responsible for describing the object,
person, ideas or situations that are written. When a

such as logical order, in an orderly manner and with good

10. Narrative paragraphs
This paragraph is responsible for exposing situations that follow
an order temporarily narrating facts, events, actions, loaded
situations verbs of action, suspense, fear and many items as
the writer want to add without losing the thread of the plot.

11. Persuasive Paragraph
This paragraph can go to the beginning of the text and its
goal is to present a thesis or idea that should convince
anyone that what is argued can be true or false.

12. Expository Paragraphs
This text is perhaps the most organized of all because
it is responsible for presenting information in a linear
fashion, ie, disclosed data, content, themes,
structured manner are easy to read.
