Thomas A. Furey, P.E., LSRP is currently the Vice President of The Entech Group, Inc., which is a company that
provides business turnkey solutions within the renewable energy, environmental and engineering arena for the
private and public sectors.
Mr. Furey is a graduate of The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) with a Bachelor of Science in Civil
Engineering (1984) and currently holds professional engineering licenses within the State of New Jersey and
Pennsylvania. He has over twenty-five (25) years of professional experience in the real estate development,
energy, environmental engineering and construction industry. He has held various managerial and technical
positions with several firms including BCM Engineers, Willis and Paul Group and HNTB Engineers. As a Group
Director, he planned and managed the budgetary and technical aspects of various design / build construction and
environmental projects, as well as traditional design - bid – build projects.
He has also received approval from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Site
Remediation Program as a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP), which allows the issuance of final
environmental closures. The NJDEP has also recognized Mr. Furey as a certified and licensed professional to
perform complete servicing related to regulated underground storage tank projects, to include tank testing,
installation, closure, and subsurface evaluation.
In addition, Mr. Furey is a longstanding Building Owners Manager’s Association (BOMA) Member serving on the
Energy & Environmental Committee and Legislation Committee. He recently has been accepted as a member of
the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) and the New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation
Professionals Association (NJLSRPA). He is a past member of the American Law Institute / American Bar Association
(ALI/ABA) and the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA).
