Nonverbal communication includes body language like open versus closed stances that show interest or threat, and gestures that can be kind and non-threatening or aggressive and threatening. Together, verbal and nonverbal skills are important for effective communication.

If a person is showing open body language, then they are interested and feel open and

towards a person , they will less likely feel threatened by it but if an aggressive gesture
is made, then the person will feel threatened and won’t feel obliged to talk to you.
