3. Internet of People
• Internet is like a digital fabric woven into the life of all of us
in one way or other
• All the data like images recordings , videos , games books,
commerce all is created BY the people ,FOR the people and
ABOUT people
• Internet of people change the world and it was all about
“CONNECTING PEOPLE”

5. Internet Of Things
• Now internet is focusing on “CONNECTING THINGS”
and this what we called INTERNET OF THINGS or IOT
• The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical
objects or things embedded with electronics , software ,
sensors & network connectivity which enables these objects
to exchange data

9. Basic Idea
• There is strong correlation between input(data) and
output(wisdom)
• The principle of sharing information increases the
amount of data for us to be process

10. Contd..
• Mobile ,Cloud ,Big Data are converging to enable countless
applications of Iot in the future
• With Iot object uses tiny devices to make them identifiable
by their own unique IP address
• This devices can autonomously connect with each other to
achieve smart optimization and smart decision

11. Stages of Iot
• First data is collected using sensors
• Next, data is analysed using complex algorithms
embedded into Iot devices
• This is followed by decision making and
transmission of data to decision making server

12. Big Data
• If the information is quite large and complex that it
becomes difficult to analyse using traditional data
processing techniques , we call it Big Data
• Result made from this is transmitted to actuator
system , where decision is implemented

13. IPv6 is key for Iot
• If our goal is to remotely control devices or otherwise
transmit data over the Internet, then we need IPv6
• IPv6’s addressing scheme provides more addresses could be
as high as 1030 addresses per person
• With IPv6, it is much simpler for an IoT device to obtain a
global IP address, which enables efficient peer-to-peer
communication

17. Devices used in Iot
WSN Nodes
• WSN nodes are low cost devices, operate at low power so
that they can run on battery
• A WSN node is an embedded system that typically performs
a single function (such as measuring temperature or
pressure, or turning on a light or a motor).
WSN Edge Nodes
• A WSN edge node is a WSN node that includes Internet
Protocol connectivity.
• It acts as a gateway between the WSN and the IP network.

23. Conclusion
• While it is complex and possess some risks and is still
evolving many pioneers have start adapting this
technology
• This can help you understanding innovative new
processes and initiatives to increase performance of
products and leads life towards betterment
