2. Purposes of this social platform
• Create a free profile to add, upload, share music for personal use,
business, or promoting & starting up your career
• Find and connect with others who are artists or just enjoy music
• Find/create and gather playlists of music from assorted artists to
enjoy or to use

3. Popular SoundCloud features:
• Multitude of artists, bands, tracks and podcasts to browse and
search from from past and present
• Upload your content for others to enjoy
• The sound cloud Iphone/Android app lets you stream commercial
free music as oppose to Pandora and other platforms…
• Once you have created a playlist of songs from assorted artists
that you simply adore, you can save and download the
playlist/song

• Who will use the platform Sound cloud? Everyone!
• In an article in USA Today published in 2013, everyone from
President Obama to New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg have
signed on to SoundCloud to share their speeches
• The general public for personal use, the promotion of
singer’s/song writers, comedians and many others have use for
this great tool

6. How is SoundCloud a Social Media
• Meet, Message and coordinate with others interested in the same
genre
SoundCloud makes social media relationships easy! One key feature
is the ability to let artists upload their music with a special URL.
This allows sound files from an artist to be posted anywhere
including Facebook, Twitter a blog ect.

7. General Uses
• Upload your personal works for others to enjoy & explore
• Find artists from around the world that are both signed and
unsigned to a record label and explore their music
• Explore a multitude of lectures, speeches , musicals and theatrical
enactments
• Create playlists of your favorite items and organize them by genre

8. SoundCloud & Me
• I personally enjoy Soundcloud when I’m at the gym I can listen to
a pre-organized set of upbeat songs I enjoy that I have
downloaded
• I can explore Soundcloud when I am bored for new and exciting
music to listen to in the car
• I have a few friends that are up and coming song writers and it’s
fun and interesting to catch up on their latest works
