2. What is Triangle Park?
Triangle Park is in the center of downtown
Chagrin Falls. It is a big, grassy park used
for gatherings such as the tree lighting and
concerts in the park.
3. When was Triangle Park founded?
In 1873, the Chagrin Falls City Council
issued a resolution to purchase the land
that would become Triangle Park.
4. Landmarks in Triangle Park
One of the landmarks in Triangle Park is the
gazebo.The gazebo was built in 1877 that’s
only four years after they bought the land.
Another landmark in Triangle park is a World
War II Memorial. Also there is a time capsule in
triangle park and it was buried in 1983 and its
supposed to be open in 2033.
5. Events in Triangle Park
One of the events in Triangle Park is the
annual tree lighting. Where people come
from all over the Cleveland area to celebrate
the beginning of the holiday season. In the
summer, events they do antique car shows
and concerts in the park.
6. Everyday happenings at the park
Everyday happenings at the park are people
walking dogs, enjoying the bands, people
walking around, and both young and old
hanging out in the gazebo and on the
benches.
7. What it used to be
What Triangle Park used to be was a
carriage works. A carriage works is a place
where you can get your carriage fixed if its
damaged or need repairing.
