2. Squaw Rock is located on the side of the Chagrin
River in the Cuyahoga County Metroparks. An artist
and blacksmith named Henry Church carved in a
huge bolder made of sandstone in 1880. No one
knows the meaning of the carving of the big snake,
dog, mermaid, backpack of arrows, eagle, skeleton and
a baby in a pose. It is important because it is a
mystery and has been here over 100 years.
