The Finance Minister offered to set up an
Innovation Fund in Secondary Education with
special focus on 3479 educationally backward
blocks.
Introducing a national ranking and accreditation
system- the colleges will be identified based on
accreditation and ranking, and given autonomous
status to increase focus towards Quality

The Ministry also proposed the setting up of a National
Testing Agency for all Entrance Exams.
In respect of Skill Development government also set aside
