My passion for the event planning industry began many years ago
and has continued to grow with my ability to plan and manage several
different genres of events. I love the process of designing and planning a
vision and seeing that develop into an amazing and memorable
experience for all the guests. I feel very fortunate to have gained an
abundance of experience from current and past positions. I truly value
people, and the contributions they make to this world. It is my goal to
continue planning successful events that bring joy, learning, and
community to the people of this world.

Attendee Outreach: To promote successful events, I have produced flyers, invitations,
social media promotions and mail-outs. Below are a few examples of my outreach.
4. Houston Audubon Gala
October 2016 | Lakeside Country Club, Houston TX
Houston Audubon’s 2016 Gala: Education that Soars was a huge success. This was the
Organization’s largest fundraiser of the year and brought in over $250,000 net. The event
consisted of a cocktail hour, silent auction, seated dinner, awards presentation and fund-a-need.

5. Garden Party with Houston Audubon
September 2016 | McGovern Centennial Gardens, Houston TX
Houston Audubon is a non-profit conservation organization that is funded primarily by local
donors. This event was executed to thank and show appreciation for all of the top donors. The
event included a cocktail reception, organization update, and live bird demonstration.

6. HCA Retirement Celebration
June 2016 | St. Regis Hotel, Houston TX
The president of Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) was retiring from 29 years of service in
the Industry. This celebration was executed in her honor as a farewell event. The event included
a cocktail hour, tribute video (in which I helped facilitate the board member interviews), seated
dinner and presentation.

7. Annual Houston BBQ Festival
May 2016 | Reliant Stadium Parking Lot, Houston TX
A group of BBQ lovers formed the Houston BBQ Festival 5 years ago and the event has
continued to grow each year. This festival was a public ticketed event where guests traveled
from booth to booth trying samples of BBQ crafted by each different vendor. All vendors were
invited to showcase their best BBQ creations.

8. Carrie and Chris’ Wedding
February 2016 | River Oaks Garden Club, Houston TX
This couple exchanged vows and joined in marriage on a beautiful Spring day. The event
consisted of a cocktail hour, ceremony, seated dinner and reception. All of the guests enjoyed
several fun activities including a live band, casino, and s’more station.

9. Sigma Chi Wild Game Dinner
November 2015 | The Wynden, Houston TX
The Sigma Chi Fraternity has been holding this traditional dinner for 70 years. All of the
Fraternity alumni brothers meet to network and mingle for a night out with the guys. The
event included a cocktail hour, seated dinner, silent auction, raffle drawings and presentation.
