INTRODUCTION
Technology has shrunken the world into a global marketplace
everyone can easily access. However, consumers’ and business’s
culture within this global marketplace remain very different.
Successful business leaders acknowledge these differences and know
how to recognise, manage, and leverage them to their advantage. An
essential skill when dealing 24/7 with partners, co-workers and
customers from different cultures.
CULTURAL INTELLIGENCE
CQ or Cultural Intelligence is the capacity of an individual to recognise
and effectively work with, different cultures. From a business
intelligence perspective, CQ is the natural evolution from IQ
(Intelligence Quotient), and EQ (Emotional Intelligence). Today’s
culturally diverse market requires successful leaders to have CQ.

Operating in the world market without CQ is like going into a maze
