3. INTRODUCTION
God’s judgment is a concept found in
Scripture closely related to God’s justice.
God always acts right and moral.
Humanity was created in such a
magnificent way that they can positively
respond to God’s righteous demands in
their lives. Thus God’s judgment, simply
defined, is His divine response to how
humanity respond to His will and way.
4. Divine judgment, involving God’s
approval or disapproval upon each
human act; it is a natural consequence
of the Creator-creature relationship
between God and humanity. Since God
is just, He responds with either
punishments or rewards to what each
person does. Moral accountability to
God is a quality not shared by the rest
of creation. It is an essential part of
being created in God’s image.
5. In a purely technical sense, judgment
includes God’s approval upon acts
which please Him. But most often
than not, judgment is understood in a
negative sense, where God punishes
those who violates His commands. In
a spiritual sense, humanity stands
under God’s judgment. God is Judge
of all the earth. Unlike a human judge
He does not need to examine any
evidence; He knows all the facts.
