These are the less populated individuals in as compared to other
ethnic groups in America.
They practice mixed culture of which depend with the area of
their origin. Some have completely forgotten their culture and
are following those of other groups.
The most admirable practice among this group is how they
interact with other groups.
The USA has greatly used these groups in building its identity
in several ways. It has improved the traditional aspects of each
group where it uses such events like social and cultural day to
enhance more culture building up. This has seen to more of
cultures from the different ethnic groups being promoted and
accommodated by other groups. Again when these ethnic groups
interact, they exchange their culture hence leading to spread of
cultures as well as the appreciation of other different cultural
practices. In addition, the USA has seen stereotypes of different
4. ethnic groups being expanded in that the stereotypical practices
of the groups are being promoted. Each ethnic group has its own
way of dividing work and job according to gender which is also
promoted by the USA. However, there are some stereotypical
practices which are no longer promoted by the same state
because they have resulted to gender discrimination among the
individuals and hence they are highly discouraged. This is the
reason as to why some traditional practices among some of the
ethnic groups are depleting as the state is against the same. The
stereotypes which are encouraged are more accurate and
recommendable such that they promote gender equity as well as
supporting each other member of the state which are not of the
same race or ethnic group. Thus the supported stereotypes are
somehow accurate. (Rubin, 1994).
The social concept of the race somehow affects the different
race and ethnic groups where some groups like the African
America and other minor groups are seen to be less important in
terms of social interaction. Hence some of these groups are not
given equal chances as others in matters concerning important
decisions to be made in the society as they are seen less
important. This aspect affects the relationship among the
different groups of the USA. (Rubin, 1994).
The behavior system of the USA has greatly resulted to big
cultural gap between these ethnic groups where some are
thought to be inferior to others. The minor groups are
discriminated in matters concerning employment in job places
as the major groups are favored. Some are denied some jobs due
to their physical appearances especially the black Americans.
This is also reinforced by the difference in class wealth. Those
who are in high classes are considered superior to the rest and
take more advantages in matters of employment and community
development. (Steinberg, 2001).

Notes from professor:
Thank you for submitting your multicultural matrix; however, I
am returning your matrix to you for correction and re-
submission. The assignment asked you to select six ethnic
groups. Ethnic groups are defined as groups that are identified
by cultural features such as language, traditions, country of
origin, etc. They are not racial groups. The groups you selected
are actually racial groups and not ethnic groups. Please select
six ethnic groups and resubmit.
