Movement:
 Movement is the act of changing the place of think one place to
another.
 It is the internal mechanism of a body that take place at the
joint by the action of muscle (internal force) or external force

8. Talocrural joint (ankle)
 Movements:
- Mainly Planter flexion and Dorsi flexion.
-Some degree of rotation (inverson and eversion)is
possible when the foot is planter flexed.

9. Subtalar joint
(Calcaneus+Talus)
Type: Gliding type of joint
Movement:
- Inversion and Eversion

10. Transverse tarsal joints
(Talonavicular+Calcaneocuboid)
 Type: Gliding type of joint
 Movement :
- Sliding

11. Tarso-metatarsal joints
• Type: Gliding type of joint
• Movement: Gliding or Sliding

12. Metatarso-phalangeal joints
 Type: ball and socket
 Movement:
- Flexion and Extension

13. Proximal interp-halangeal joints
 Type: Little toes – Hinge type of joint
