New changes
As we were now changing to a slashers
film we believed that we would need to
change who would play who so that are
choices matched the sub genre.
2. We decided to play our victim we would need
a woman to meet the codes and conventions so
Lauren took that place and then for the killer
we needed a tall man so we decided Jacob
would definitely be able to fit the role. We also
needed to have someone that would see what
has happened or witness the killer just before
the opening ended so we decided Nathaniel
could play that role and then Josh could be the
camera man and director for the opening.
Casting
3. In the opening we had our female character
(charlotte) jogging so we decided it would be best to
get Lauren a running costume to wear so she fit the
role as best as she could.
We thought that a running costume would be able to
show the innocence we wanted to give off as it
shows she's just an everyday girl minding her own
business, this also will help our target audience
relate to our character as people in the ages of 17-25
will do things like go running so it will give the
feeling that this could happen to anyone portraying
the characters innocence.

4. For the killer we thought that we needed to fit
the codes and conventions of slasher films and
decided the best way to dress Jacob was to give
him a plain mask fairly casual clothes but then
pointy shoes. Giving our killer black clothing
with red on it shows the killers dominace as
red connotes danger and death and the black
connotes evil and the unknown giving our
character a serious and mysterious look.

5. For the witness to the crime/ person that sees
the killer we thought that we would have to
give them a very casual set of clothes to be
wearing as if it was any other normal day so we
decided Nathaniel would just wear a casual
days clothes that you would see anyone else
wear.

6. Props
We thought a plain mask would best suit our
character as it does not tell the audience much
about the character leaving a mystery to him
