This document compares and contrasts the conventions used in the student's Music Magazine to an actual magazine called Vibe. It finds similarities in having clear titles, mastheads with key information, and use of three main colors. Differences include Vibe having more promotional text on the cover while the student's version has less for a cleaner look. The student also chose to use two colors for the masthead instead of one to make words stand out, and designed a more visually engaging contents page with images to better suit their R&B genre target audience.
