it changed as a “SKIN-TO-SKIN” concept, then it
developed by Dr. hector in 1994 and kangaroo foundation
was created.
the main strategy created and developed is
breastfeeding, weight gaining and infection.

kangaroo care hospital
Kangaroo care (KC) is the practice of skin-to-skin contact
between infant and parent. Kangaroo care is the result of
intensive research and exhaustive studies and revolving
around the different needs of customers.

baby skin to skin with mother.

Care” the research conducted to determine mother’s
prior knowledge of Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC)
and awareness about benefits of KMC for preterm
babies, a consecutive sample of 45 preterm babies in
the period of 3 months and it find that 58.1% parents
are aware about the KMC and they taken a service
from kangaroo care hospital.

intervention” it aims to a major proportion of low birth
weight and they conducted formative research to assess
the feasibility, and adoption they conduct the qualitative

they found that most mothers are realized that babies born
small required special care and most mothers perceived
benefits such as weight gain and increased activity in the
infant, formative research is essential for developing a
strategy for delivery of an intervention.

 At the time of treatments some problems are founded
they are lack of nurses, cost of service is too high,
