This cutting-edge Google Glass style
headgear for airline pilots, recently introduced in the
market by Elbit is based on military technology.It
projects data from plane-mounted cameras onto the
pilot’s visor to provide an augmented 3D image of the
view ahead.

4. The flexible arm, which is armored with
Kevlar and hard plastic, contains a rechargeable lithium
battery pack that powers an "electronic deterrent" device built
into the arm's artificial skin. All the user has to do is pull a pin,
and an assailant who grabs his or her arm is going to get
zapped with electricity. The Bodyguard is also equipped with a
bright LED flashlight, an HD camera capable of transmitting
pictures, and a charging slot into which an iPhone apparently fits
nicely.
The helmet of the near future,
however, may contain something more than extra protection
from flying shrapnel.Advanced Research Projects Agency
(DARPA), is trying to develop a military helmet equipped with
technology to regulate soldiers' brains. The technology
is transcranial pulsed ultrasound, which delivers high-frequency
sound waves to specific regions of the brain.

Learning Organizer helps language teachers produce and
share digital learning objects and activities for their students.
The learning objects are created by the teacher or assembled

Year four students at St. Leonard’s College, a
primary school in Australia, are using tablets loaded with math
apps and e-textbooks to access information, receive instruction,
record measurements, and conduct research.

-A capsule with two tiny video cameras that enables
visualization of patients’ intestines without the need for
endoscopy – was founded by Gabi Iddan, an IDF-trained
engineer. He used miniature missile-guiding technology to craft
this groundbreaking medical-imaging device.
- Scientists at University of Oxford have invented
a rectangular cartridge that can store vaccines without
refrigeration. Vaccines must be refrigerated between 4 °C to 8
°C to stay effective. This increased cost is between 14 to 20
percent (an average of $200 million for most countries). The
vaccine is immobilized and kept in suspended animation inside
the sugar-glass. When needed the cartridge is simply screwed
into a standard vaccine syringe for injection.this has reduced
the cost.

patient requires care for an amputated limb or the
open wounds of a fractured bone. Vacuum pumps
speed healing by removing bacteria and fluids that
accumulates on, and around the injury. Traditional
pumps require 14 watts of electricity; Zurovcik’s pump
a new pump that needs only 80 microwatts to function.

above the ground but small enough to fit into the trunk of a car.

The touch screen device receives wireless information from

usage for every energy consuming product in the home -

-RCA has developed a prototype of a cool
new gadget capable of producing wireless electricity from radio
frequencies in the air. The handheld wireless device (Airnergy)
uses an antenna to absorb energy from frequencies and convert
them into DC power inside its casing.The gadget is then
connected via a USB port to charge your cell phone or mobile
internet device.
