CONTEXT
• Often, the potential of HR to add value directly to business is not known
• It is often relegated to a „common sense‟+ „gut‟ approach by people managers, while,
• People managers need to be able to practice
• Selecting for „fit‟
• Counseling for performance
• Developing potential
• Rewarding equitably
• Managing transition, not just change
• Each of these requires a basic grounding in behavioural sciences
• Hence, this program will
• Develop individual competencies in the area of „People Technology‟

CONTEXT • Often, the potential of HR to add value directly to business is not known • It is often relegated to a „common sense‟+ „gut‟ approach by people managers, while, • People managers need to be able to practice • Selecting for „fit‟ • Counseling for performance • Developing potential • Rewarding equitably • Managing transition, not just change • Each of these requires a basic grounding in behavioural sciences • Hence, this program will • Develop individual competencies in the area of „People Technology‟ • Increase the awareness and perception of HR‟s potential among the participants • Award a „certification‟ that would be of value in their careers
