Our pupils at Specialized school 3 in Khust, Ukraine prepared materials on rare and culturally significant plants in Ukraine, including pictures of the narcissus vulgar which is on the coat of arms of their town, edelweiss which symbolizes love and purity and grows in the mountains, and bluebells which are among the first spring flowers and protected by the state. They also featured snowdrops, beech trees, snowball trees, fir trees, and weeping willows - learning about important plants in their country's history, culture and environment through their research.
