continuing in the scale of pay at Rs.27,800-59400/-. In
other words, consequential orders have not been issued
pursuant to 1Qtn pay revision order implementing the
revised pay scale for Village Officers. It is pointed out
by the learned counsel for the applicants that when the
State Government has accepted the pay commission
recommendation and has issued the pay revision orders,
fixing a different pay scale for Village Officers segregating
the same frqm that of HC/RI, necessary orders have to be
issued implementing the same. It is pointed out that'
after the issua nce of. the pay revision orders, the
promotions now effected from the cadre of UDC/SVO is to
the post of HC/RI and not to the post of HC/VO/RI. l-he
learned counsel refers to Annexure A4 promotion order
dated 5.7 .20t9. It is therefore submitted that the
respondents have also accepted the recqmmendation of

the pay comnlission a'nd necessarily orders have to be
issued without delay, implementing thS revised pay
scale providecl in the pay revision order for the post of
Village Officer. Learned Government Pleader seeks
further time to get instructions.
2. It is however noted that once the paY revision
orders have been issued accepting the pay commission
recommendation and the same has been given effect to
while granting further promotions from UDC/SVO cadre to
that of HC/RI, issuance of consequential orders granting
tlre revised scale of pajy to UDC's cannot be delayed.
There will therefore be a direction to the first respondent,
to issue consequential orders implementing the revised
scale of pay for the post of Village Officer in the Revenue
Department aS per the 1Qth pay revision order
G.O(P)7/2016/Fin dated 20.L,20L6, as expeditiously as

possible, at any rate, within a period of two months from
the date of receipt of a c.ertified copy of this orcler.
