The student learned about various technologies through constructing an opening sequence for a product. They used a MacBook, camera, tripod, and software like Mahara, Garageband, and Final Cut Pro. Filming with the camera was easy as they had experience from a prior task, but Final Cut Pro was the hardest to learn as no one had used it before. While their company ident did not turn out as planned, it was a good first attempt. Garageband was easier since the student had prior music lessons, though it took time to find the right sounds. A voice recorder was used to add realistic Foley sounds.
